TOURS POLICIES 

 
Due to the conditions of this activity considered part of adventure activities, the company takes into account the following aspects, which provide greater safety to the tourist while enjoying the tour.

  1. The company has used the best materials on the market for the execution of this activity, and the equipment comes with a safety guarantee, such as life jackets, floats, and bicycles.
  2. Every day, prior to the tour, an inspection of all equipment is conducted. The guides are highly trained and certified to manage the groups and maintain their safety.
  3. The guides are the only ones authorized to handle the equipment at all times. Visitors should not manipulate the equipment; in case of any irregularity, they must inform the guide immediately (loose equipment, too tight, high or low, etc.).
  4. The company has a liability insurance policy. This policy covers immediate medical insurance. In case of an accident, speak with the staff for the required assistance, as the company is not responsible once you have left our tour.
  5. Under no circumstances will the company assume responsibility in the event of accidents caused by disobedience to safety rules.
  6. The maximum weight per person to participate in the tour is 120 kilograms or 264 pounds.
  7. The use of loose sandals is not recommended; if you are going to use them, they should be tied. You are informed that you will get wet.
  8. In the event of torrential rain, electrical storms, or strong winds, based on the experience, training, and knowledge of the guide, he will be the person responsible for deciding whether the tour can take place or needs to be suspended. If the tour cannot be conducted, our reservations-sales staff will contact you to reschedule for another available date and time. Money is non-refundable; all purchases are final.
  9. In the case of children, the recommended age to participate in the tour alone is 10 years or a height of 1.35 meters; the responsible adults must sign a separate form with the minor's information and accompany them during the tour.
  10. The tour is not permitted for women who are pregnant or individuals with recent surgeries.
  11. As part of the harmful effects caused by smoking on health and nature, the environmental and social responsibility of NOSARA PURA VIDA prohibits smoking during the tour or while at the starting or finishing location of the tour.
  12. It is prohibited to litter at the starting point, during the tour, or at the end of the tour. We ask you to dispose of it in the appropriate containers we have for recycling or regular trash.
  13. Individuals under the influence of drugs or inebriated will not be allowed to participate in the tour. If it is known that someone is under either of these effects or states, has the authority to suspend their tour, and there will be no refund of money.
  14. A single change will be made with a minimum notice of 24 hours.
  15. Once the tour is paid for, if you decide not to attend, abandon it, or for any other reason, the money will not be refunded.
  16. Out of respect for other clients who arrive on time for the activity, we cannot wait for you if you are not at the tour's starting time, and you lose the right to reschedule or receive a refund.
  17. Before the start of the tour, the guides will give a briefing explaining how the tour should be conducted, instructions that must be followed to the letter; otherwise, the tour will be suspended for not complying with the basic safety rules.
  18. By completing and submitting the online form titled "Medical Form," you acknowledge all the specifications established therein, declaring that you are fully aware of the possible risks and dangers inherent in this activity and agree to participate.

You guarantee and affirm that the information provided is real and truthful; therefore, in case of having omitted, concealed, or provided false information to the company, you release from all responsibility.
